The Apple Pay system has quietly added another US bank to its list of supported institutions. Commerce Bank, which has branches in a number of states, mostly in the Midwest, is now listed on Apple's support site, but just for its MasterCard.
While Commerce Bank also has a Visa credit card, it is apparently not included in Apple Pay. The bank itself has not yet officially announced its support of Apple Pay, but it has now become the 17th banking organization to join Apple's payment system included as part of iOS 8, along with the MasterCard, Visa and American Express credit card companies.
